FREE CAT SPAYING, NEUTERING JANUARY 16TH

Free spaying and neutering surgeries for house cats, feral and free roaming cats will be offered to all Miami-Dade residents for one day only — Jan. 16.
The surgeries are being funded by donations from the Animal Services Trust Fund, Animal Services, The Cat Network and the Humane Society of Broward County.
The city of Miami Beach is hosting the event at 5300 Collins Ave., in the parking lot behind Fire Station 3.
Four cats per person will be allowed.
All cats will be vaccinated against rabies, sterilized, dewormed and ear tipped. Veterinarian on the scene may decline surgery due to health reasons, said Sara Pizano, director of Miami-Dade Animal Services.
The event begins at 7 a.m. For an appointment, call 305-805-1603, but walk-ins are welcomed that day.
