Auto Review | The 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage ES

Disclosure: I was provided the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage for seven days to test drive for free. All opinions are my own.

I had the opportunity to cruise around town for one week with the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage and I must say…looks are definitely deceiving! When the car was dropped off to me, my first real reaction was “Wow that’s a tiny car” but trust me that tiny car packs a powerful punch. Because I’m a mother of three, I wanted to see how well we all fit in the car and to my amazement it was just enough room for us all.

I didn’t take the Mitsubishi on any special trip because I really wanted to test how well this car would fit into my life on a everyday basis. It just so happens that I started a new job at the same time, so it was perfect timing for me to put the Mirage to the “Rush Hour” test. I absolutely fell in love on how smooth it drove but still had lots of power! I was even able to find great parking in tight spaces which some of my coworkers couldn’t take advantage of due to their over sized vehicles.

During the weekend I had lots of errands to run which included some grocery shopping and early back-to-school shopping. Because the Mitsubishi Mirage is a Hatchback, I was a little concerned that all my bags wouldn’t fit in the trunk in addition to my kids in the back seat. BOY, WAS I WRONG!
As you can see the photo above, I had more than enough room. There were lots of bags underneath the bags that you see. Plus, I love the fact that there is a cover once you close the trunk so no one can see what all you’ve purchased.

The audio system and Bluetooth system were my favorites. It connected to my phone so easily without going through numerous steps. I also loved how I had the ability to control the volume and changing radio channels from the steering wheel. Another safety feature that I noticed is that the seat belt chimer continues to sound loudly until you put your seat belt on. Most vehicles will alert you and after a certain time it just gives up and doesn’t alert you anymore but the Mirage will keep alerting you! SN: Always wear your seat belt!

Another favorite of mine is the GAS! I kept ranting and raving to everyone about how awesome this car is on gas. I filled up with $20 and it gave me a little over 100 miles to run on!! I was in total amazement.

Overall, I was very pleased with the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an economical way of living. Again, don’t let the size fool you. This car packs one heck of a punch all while making you feel secure and saving you lots of money on fuel.
