EVENT RECAP: Vanessa James presents #VJMediaMixology 2013

One event that I look forward to every year is
Vanessa James’s “Media Mixology”.
The signature event created by Vanessa James
brought together some of the most
recognized brands, bloggers, media and influencers in one amazing night.
Patrons were greeted by iconic automotive brand General Motors as the introduced the #ChevyUrbanStyle movement to Miami.
I was amazed at how sexy yet classy the new 2014’s are. I couldn’t wait to
get in that driver seat and play around with the dashboard.

 
 
 

 
The mixology end of things was headed up by music mogul Jay-Z’s newest venture D’usse Cognac. Fans sipped on summer cocktails handcrafted by a D’usse mixologist with live play by play demonstrations hosted by Vanessa. I fell in love INSTANTLY with this drink. In fact I had
about 2 cups, thanks to the beautiful ladies who made sure everyone stayed refreshed.
I also took some time away from D’usse Cognac to try Barefoot Wine’s new
refresher drinks. Talk about falling in love twice in one night. Out of the four flavors, my
favorite is “Summer Red”.

 
 
The night was highlighted with a Swim Week preview by the multi-talented designer Lila Nikole

It was an honor for Vanessa James to invite The Buzz Connect and
we can’t wait till next years event.
The networking opportunities were endless and it was fun connecting with
different brands.
To top the night off, our very own Cherri was the winner for a
one week test drive of the 2014 Chevy Impala. Stay tuned for an exclusive review
next month.
