EVENT: “Touch Down for Autism” to benefit The Dan Marino Foundation
On Monday, April 1, 2013 11:00am-1:00pm,
South Florida’s own Dan Marino Foundation commemorates
National Autism Awareness Month by
teaming up with Panera Bread to score a
“Touchdown for Autism”. The Touchdown for Autism fundraising initiative will
involve 26 Panera Bread Cafes in Broward and Palm Beach counties.
As part of the partnership, Panera Bread has
created an exclusive “Football” cookie
that will pre-sell the last week in March and will
be available in cafes April 1st-15th.
These one-of-a-kind cookies will be sold individually or by the dozen, the
“Marino Foundation”, 13 cookies. From every cookie sold $1 will
benefit The Dan Marino Foundation and the Foundation’s programs for
children and young adults with
autism and other developmental disabilities, as
well as the Foundation’s planned Marino Campus that is slated to open in 2014.
This event will be held at Panera Bread (Southport location),
1461 SE 17th street, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316
